Bracknell Forest Homes is committed to involving, consulting and informing its customers on a wide range of issues. We believe that involving customers improves the effectiveness of our housing services and can help you to develop new skills.
Customer involvement is about giving you the opportunity to have a say in the way we provide housing services. It means residents will be able to influence the decisions that affect them, their homes and communities. We provide a wide range of involvement opportunities to enable people of all backgrounds, ages and minority groups to participate if they choose.
It is important that tenants and leaseholders can have their say about the service we provide and what happens in their local communities. If you want to get involved please contact:

We currently involve tenants and leaseholders in many different ways and the amount of time and commitment you give is up to you. To help you decide the most suitable level of involvement for you we have graded the various involvement activities with a 'star' system. The number of stars shown next to the heading indicates the amount of time and commitment required:
Little time is required to participate and, consultation is on an infrequent basis (i.e. an hour every few months)

A medium amount of time and commitment is required (i.e. two hours every three months)

A higher commitment level and amount of time is required to become involved (i.e. two hours per month)

The highest level of involvement where in addition to attending meetings, residents are required to take part in regular training events and other meetings (i.e. one to two hours per week)

Our commitment to you
We are committed to offering customers a wide range of opportunities to get involved. To achieve this there is an agreement between customers and Bracknell Forest Homes, which is called the Customer Compact. This is currently being updated and will published in June. The previous agreement between tenants and Bracknell Forest Council (before housing transferred) is available by clicking Tenants and Leaseholders Compact.
