Frequently asked questions
What does the NEAT Team look after?
All estates and land owned and managed by Bracknell Forest Homes are visited by the NEAT Team. They proactively identify vandalism, graffiti and other forms of anti-social behaviour, then liaise with the Police and Council to tackle prolems.
The NEAT Team also respond to reported incidents of illegally dumped rubbish, abandoned trolleys, untaxed or abandoned vehicles and health and safety issues. All incidents are recorded, evidence gathered where practical and followed up in line with the NEAT Team's policies and procedures. The Council and Thames Valley Police are involved as necessary.
Where will I see members of NEAT?
Mobile Caretakers and Estate Officers carry out regular estate patrols and checks on lighting, security, cleaning (where contractors are in place), fire alarms and general caretaking duties to flats and communal areas.
How do I recycle or dispose of waste and rubbish?
The Longshot Lane waste and recycling centre is available for local residents to dispose of household waste and recycling. By clearing rubbish and recycling you can help keep estates looking clean and tidy. Please click for more information and opening times.
